Handmade, not machine-uniform
Because pieces are made by hand, small size and colour variations between pieces are normal. We would rather say so than promise machine-level uniformity we cannot deliver.
Quality
How we describe and check what we sell — and what we do not claim.
Our position
A low price often hides a substitution — a filler, a blend or a lower grade quietly replacing what the buyer thought they were getting. We are not interested in that shortcut.
So every product is described by what it actually is. If a claim cannot be backed up, we drop the claim rather than the honesty.
Handmade products
Done by hand at the shop before an order is packed.
Reference
Naming the material and the piece in your enquiry gets you a faster, more accurate quote.
| Material | Used in | What we check |
|---|---|---|
| Crochet cotton yarn | Keychains, dolls, baby bag | Even stitching and a securely fastened keyring or clasp |
| Coiled natural grass fibre | Basket tray, woven baskets, tissue box cover | Tight, even winding so the shape holds; a clean, consistent wrap |
| Bamboo | Water bottle, mug, basket set | Smoothed surfaces, a securely fitted cap or handle, a clean finish |
| Jute rope & fibre | Storage baskets, animal figures | Firm winding with no loose ends; a level base and secure lid or handle |
| Macrame cotton cord & wood | Wall hanging | Even, symmetrical knotting; a securely mounted dowel and shelf |
Honest disclosure
We will not print a certification we do not hold, or a claim a product cannot back up.
Because pieces are made by hand, small size and colour variations between pieces are normal. We would rather say so than promise machine-level uniformity we cannot deliver.
We describe what a product is actually made of. We do not add "BPA free", "leak proof" or similar claims unless that claim genuinely applies to it.
What we genuinely control is checking products by hand before they leave us. That is where most quality is won or lost, and where we hold the line.
Product, quantity and destination. The clearer the enquiry, the more accurate the quote you get back.
