Grades stated, not implied
Screen size, bulk density, purity percentage, curcumin, ASTA colour — whatever the governing number is for that spice, it goes into the offer before you commit.
M/S S.S Trading imports and supplies all kinds of spices — cardamom, cumin, cassia, clove, black pepper, dried chilli, turmeric and more — to masala manufacturers, re-packers, food processors, restaurants and wholesalers across Bangladesh. Grades stated in writing, samples before payment, landed prices in taka.
Our spice range
Whole, ground and blended. Each line is offered with the specification that governs its price — screen size, purity, bulk density, curcumin or ASTA colour — so you know exactly what you are buying.
Why buyers stay with us
Anyone can quote a low price on an unspecified grade. Here is what we do differently.
Screen size, bulk density, purity percentage, curcumin, ASTA colour — whatever the governing number is for that spice, it goes into the offer before you commit.
Every lot is offered against a sample drawn from the actual consignment. You approve the sample, then the order confirms. No blind buying.
Duty, VAT, AIT, port charges and inland freight worked into one delivered number, so you can price your own product with confidence.
Send the spice, grade and quantity. You get a firm written quotation with a validity period and a delivery timeline the next working day.
We trade from Moulvi Bazar, Dhaka's spice wholesale centre. That proximity is why we quote today's real price movement instead of yesterday's rate.
Deal directly with Tamim Hossain (Sabuj), Proprietor. No call-centre queue and no passing your file between desks.
Sourcing origins
Cutting out layers is how the price stays competitive and the grade stays traceable. These are the origins our regular lines come from.
How it works
No verbal promises, no surprise costs at unloading. Every stage produces something in writing.
Tell us the spice, the grade or specification, the quantity and where it needs to land. WhatsApp a photo of a sample if that is easier than describing it.
Within one working day you receive a firm quotation: grade, origin, packing, price basis, validity and delivery timeline. Nothing left verbal.
We courier or hand over a sample drawn from the actual lot. You test it, your lab tests it, and only then do we confirm the order.
Goods dispatched with invoice, packing list and applicable certificates. Payment on agreed terms — advance, letter of credit or approved credit.
Services
Import, wholesale, contract sourcing, grinding, private label — and the paperwork that goes with all of it.
We open the LC, book freight, clear the consignment and hand you a landed cost — so you buy a finished price in taka rather than an FOB figure plus surprises.
Working stock held at Shop No. 100, Gulbodon Super Market. Bag quantities up to full truckloads, released the same day for Dhaka buyers.
Need a grade we do not carry, or a specific origin crop? We source against your written specification and confirm on sample approval, before any money moves.
Contract grinding to your mesh, blending to your recipe, packing under your brand in pouch, jar or sachet — with a retained sample for every batch.
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary and lab reports assembled properly, so clearance does not stall at the port.
Covered-van and truck delivery to Chattogram, Sylhet, Khulna, Rajshahi, Bogura, Cumilla and beyond. Freight quoted before dispatch, never after.
Quality & compliance
Cheap spice is usually cheap for a documented reason. We would rather tell you the reason than hide it.
Who we supply
If a bad lot costs you a customer, a batch or a tender, you are the buyer we are set up for.
Who you are dealing with
Most spice enquiries in Dhaka disappear into a broker chain where nobody owns the outcome. At S.S Trading you deal with Tamim Hossain (Sabuj) directly. If a grade is wrong there is one person to call, and that person can actually fix it.
We trade from Shop No. 100 in Gulbodon Super Market, Moulvi Bazar — the heart of Dhaka's wholesale spice market. Walk in during business hours, or send an enquiry and get a written quotation the next working day.
